Searching the database

There are two ways to search abstracts in our database: simple and advanced search. Simple search allows searching by one or several keywords against the following fields: author, title, content and date published. Each keyword is matched partially against all the fields, and if there are multiple keywords, abstracts containing at least one of the keywords will show up in the search result, with abstracts containing the most keywords displaying first.

Advanced search allows using logical operators being applied to each individual field. In case of keywords, they are also matched partially, but multiple words inside each field will be treated as a single keyword and not treated as separated keywords and matched individually. Advanced search also allows searching by a date range. Both start and end date are optional, entering only start date will show up abstracts published starting by that date. Alternatively, entering only end date will show up abstracts published up to that date.
