This is our participation in the tumor board discussion on how to treat an advanced breast cancer patient. This short article acknowledges the challenge of recurrent breast cancer with post-surgery metastasis to bone to the modern medicine, and points out that qigong has been an effective method to treat this type of disease. We have had 18 similar patients, and 12 of them have completely recovered. The basic philosophy of medical qigong for treating cancer include: Change the mentality of the patient (turn the tradition of searching for help from outside to searching from within to rebuild immune system and confidence in recovery); change the patient's daily habit and lifestyle; minimize localized and symptomatic treatment; and focus on rebuilding the immune system and self-healing capability. The specific method and steps include, 1) Effective stabilization with external qi therapy; 2) intensive qigong training; 3) training of consciousness power; 4) Fuqi Bigu (energetic fasting with Fuqi technique); 5) external qi adjustment from day 4 of Bigu, or shatter the tumor with strong EQ; 6) continue intensive qigong practice until recovery.
