Qigong, one of the legacies in the treasure-house of Chinese medicine. It has unique effect in treating chronic and cancer disease. In this study we found that Lu qigong is a potent inducer of terminal granulocytic differentiation of the human promyelocytic leukemia cell line, HL-60.

We incubated fresh HL-60 cells in short-term suspension cultures in the presence of outer qigong. Our results indicate that terminal granulocytic differentiation of only promyelocytic leukemia cells is induced by outer qigong.

In this study of 12 bottles every bottle contains 5 ml liquid of fresh HL-60 cell incubated 37 degrees centigrade in a humidity of 5% co in air. Every bottle contains 2x10^5/ml HL-60 cells. It divided into two groups.

The test group: 6 bottles every bottle contains 5 ml liquid 2x10^7/ml HL-60 cells has received treatment of outer qigong, 2 times/day incubated for 3 days.

The other 6 bottles of HL-60 cells is the control group did not received outer qigong.

Our results indicate that the comparison of two groups the different variable obviously the mean of terminal granulocytic differentiation of only promyelocytic leukemia cell in test group mean=57.33 another group mean=31.17 n'=10 t=4.48 p<0.01.

We supposed that qigong exercise is really an effective adjuvant therapy of cancers, in clinical.
