In recent years more and more students have suffered shortsightedness in China. It is estimated that of those whose eyesight is below 5.0, about 20 to 40 percent are primary school pupils, 40 to 70 are middle school students and 70 to 90 percent are college students. All this has greatly affected the health of the students. We have made a careful study and experiment with hundreds of primary school pupils and middle school and college students and invented this set of qigong therapy. The results show that the subjects (mainly the serious short-sighted people) in the college group have improved their eyesight from 4.32 before training to 4.89 after training, with an average rise of 0.57 and 51.4 percent of the short-sighted people have a normal eyesight above 5.0. This datum is leading in the data reported nowadays. The subjects in the primary-middle school group have improved their eyesight from 4.48 before training to 5.15 after training with an average rise of 0.67 and the stabilization rate of this group is more than 98 percent. From the above we have found that the best therapy for curing deep shortsightedness. This qigong therapy makes use of the principles of wholly nourishing heart, liver and kidney, of locally dredging the passages or channels with the help of massage and acupuncture, etc. This qigong therapy has achieved remarkable curative effects.
