Paper to be presented will be on the application of qigong for the rehabilitation of acute and chronic pain caused by injuries to any part of the body as the result of physical traumas.
Effect of Qi results in reduced pain level from trauma after 1 treatment. Symptoms of trauma decrease after 1 treatment of 2 minutes using Qi.
Structural misalignments corrected by using Qi, eliminating the need to perform forced manipulations on joints which could be further traumatized.
Flexibility improved over 50%, stiffness is decreased, range of motion is increased at least 50% through use of Qi.
Qi is utilized and directed to alter the mental, emotional, and psychological sources that perpetuate the sensation of pain, leading to instant healing and the shortest time possible for recovery.
Comparative studies indicate favorable results with this form of qigong therapy over traditional treatment and therapy such as acupuncture, chiropractic, pain medication, physical therapy and other form of energy therapy.
Qi gong exercises are not needed for rehabilitative purposes in the course of treatment.
