Rehabilitation Effects Due to The Dirigation of Miaofayuan Gong in 29 Diabetes Cases

Objective: To find whether the dirigation of Miaofayuanrong Gong is effective in treating those diabetics who don’t have satisfying medication effects.
Methods: The study was carried out in 29 diabetics who don’t have satisfying medication effects. The subjects included 7 males and 22 females, aging from 35 to 64 years old, and their course of diabetes lasted from 1 to 16 years, some relatively severe cases had complications. At the very beginning of the study, fasting blood glucose of each subject was tested. Their personal routine medications were applied during the course of Miaofayuanrong Gong dirigation. After about 30 days of Dirigation, another fasting blood glucose test was applied to every subject.
Results: The fasting blood glucose dropped to 8.072.95mmol/L after the 30-day-dirigation, compared to the pre-dirigation fasting blood glucose test results 11.294.40mmol/L (P<0.01). 7 of these tests results (29.14%) dropped to be acceptable, according to the latest WHO recommendation, and 5 of 29 results (17.24%) are satisfying. The main diabetic subjective symptoms alleviated after the dirigation of Miaofayuanrong Gong, such as excessive ingestion of food, excessive ingestion of water, excessive polyuria and lassitude.
Conclusion: The dirigation of Miaofayuanrong Gong has satisfying effect in treating diabetes, and it is operable.
