Situation of 'Human Potential Science' and Its Societies

The International Society of Life Information Science (ISLIS) seeks to realize the paradigm shift from material-oriented science and technology to a new paradigm including the consciousness, spirit and mind through there search based on empirical and positive scientific methodology, and consequently, to promote the development of health, social welfare, educationas well associal and personal peace of mind, and to contribute to the making of a peaceful world, at one with nature. Since the founding of ISLIS in 1995, 16 symposiums have been held and the international journal of ISLIS have published periodically, for which ISLIS has received worldwide praise. As further development from the 'Human Potential Science'International Forum held in Japan in 2002, we will hold the 'Mind Body Science' International Forum in Seoul in August 2004. To promote constant research activities in this field, the International Research Institute (IRI ) was foundedin 2001. The situation of 'Human Potential Science' and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is reported.
