We have observed the changes of anterior brain waves on the Zen meditation. The results show that the frontal lobe brain waves have a property of low frequency fluctuations. When the Zen priests were in meditation, the fluctuating amplitudes were significantly increased, the largest amplitude is on the Alpha 2 rhythm and Beta rhythm. This EEG changes from the frontal lobe might be attributed to the happy mood and thinking operation with image during Zen meditation
