Stroke, congestive heart failure and acute myocardial infarction did not occur. No side effects were observed as well. (2) It could markedly improve LQ of hypertensive patients. LQ examinations showed that significant difference (P <0.001) existed among LQ indices except dysfunction, which might be due to the selection of non-dysfunctional patients. LQ should be widely used in clinical practice and medical research.
