Delayed luminescence imaging system and its application Author: Changhoon Lee//Joon-Mo Yang//Sang-Heun Park//Seung-Ho Yi//// Affiliation: School of Physics, Seoul National Univ. Light from a metal halide lamp can be exposed to specimens in a dark chamber through an optical fiber in the system. Three synchronized mechanical shutters were installed to prevent any direct light or fluorescence of other materials except the specimen from entering the CCD camera. For an application, the delayed luminescence from leaves of Euonymus japonica was imaged as a function of light illumination time. Our study might be applied to study the nature of living organisms in addition to plant physiology on the aspects of biophoton.
