We looked into the scientific grounds for Wai Qi therapy. In the experiment to avoid suggested effects to receivers of Wai Qi as much as possible, we devised a condition so that receivers can not feel the Qigong master's movement or hear movement or breathing sound when the Qigong master is doing Fa Gong (projecting the Qi). We made quantitative analysis of physiological reactions such as EEG, respiration, ECG and pulse rate of the receivers in order to study the mechanism of Wai Qi more deeply.
