  • Training:
More than 35 years of Qigong and Chinese Martial Arts. Principle teachers: William C. C. Chen, B. P. Chan, and Madame Gao Fu. Seminars and professional training with Share K. Lew, Feng Zhiqiang, Liang Shouyu, and others. Principle apprentice to Taoist Abbot Huang Gengshi from 1976 until his passing (1999).

Subjects: Taoist Qigong, Chen and Yang Style Taiji Quan, Bagua Zhang, Xingyi Quan.

Qigong Styles: Yi Quan Standing Meditation, Five Animal Frolics, Healing Sounds, Bone Marrow Cleansing, Muscle/Tendon Transformation, Primordial Qigong (Hunyuan Gong), Relaxation Qigong, Taiji Ruler, External Qi Healing, Healing Visualization, Taoist Meditation.

Collaboration with scientists, scholars, and clinicians throughout the world.


  • Practice and Services:
Kenneth Cohen directs the Qigong Research & Practice Center, offering group, private, and seminar instruction in Colorado, nationally, and throughout the world. Courses offered: the classical styles of Health Qigong; External Qi Healing (non-contact energy treatment, including training for health care professionals); Taiji Quan (Tai Chi) and Chinese Inner Martial Arts for health and self-defense. Lectures offered on Diet and Nutrition; Sexual Health; Feng Shui, Taoist Philosophy. You may write for a schedule of classes and our “Qi and Tea Catalog” of books, tapes, research papers, and fine Chinese tea. We also offer Qigong Certification. This is a three to four year faculty-assisted independent study program designed for personal growth and development. The training is both practical and academic.
