Tai Chi: Began with Master Waysun Liao in Oak Park, IL, 1976 Yang long form and Chen Man Ching's short form with teachers who have included Tam Gibbs, Ben Lo, William C.C. Chen, and more recently Master Weilun Huang. My main teacher was Master Yin, Ho Chian from whom I learned a little-known Wu large-frame long form and Yin's tai chi sword form.

Qigong: Around 1981 I began learning qigong from my tai chi teachers--martial arts and health qigong, and microcosmic and healing sounds from Healing Tao teachers; early 90's I began studying with Master Liang Shou-yu--Buddhist and Taoist Qigong. I am a certified Medical Qigong Instructor (Liang & Wu).

  • Practice and Services:
Teaching is all I do. When using my qi in the healing process, my words and silence assist people to connect and heal. In the treatment room, the vehicle is a needle, moxabustion, touch, and herbal medicines. Other times, the vehicle is my voice and movement gently encouraging openings and awakenings in body/minds. We have morning qigong intensives for seasonal harmonizing of qi, special workshops in Master Yin's martial arts qigong, workshops by visiting qigong and tai chi instructors, and perpetual Tai Chi classes. The purposes of all classes at Three Treasures are to cultivate jing/qi/shen awareness, balance yin and yang energies, and re-establish our connections with nature and earth.
