Much of my work focuses on teaching and empowering women through Radiant Lotus Qigong, a style of Qigong that addresses a variety of women's health issues such as hormonal imbalances, breast and uterine tumors, menstrual pains, menopause symptoms and more. This Qigong honors the differences in women's bodies, as well as their emotional makeup due to the many hormonal shifts that women go through in their lives, from girlhood to menstruation, pregnancy, menopause and growing with grace into our wise elder years. My goal is to teach women techniques that empower their ability to take care of themselves and their families, without drugs, and with confidence in their natural healing abilities. It is my hope that by empowering women's lives, their families and communities will benefit vicariously. Through our non-profit, Kahuna Valley, I volunteer at our local hospice, in public schools, as well as making special presentations at seniors centers and other places in need. |
