Annette Franks, M.Ed. has a Private Consulting Practice in Columbus, Ohio with over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, families and Corporations. She is on Faculty at The Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio and The Addiction Studies Institute at The Ohio State University Department of Addiction Medicine - Talbot Hall. She conducts Qigong and Tai Chi Classes, Mind-Body Health Seminars, Relationship Workshops, Empowerment Seminars, Motivational Speaking Engagements, and Counselor and Corporate Training Programs throughout the United States and Canada.

Annette also currently leads week long Life Enrichment Retreats open to the public on "Balancing Body, Mind & Spirit" at Pura Vida Spa in Costa Rica. The Life Enrichment Retreats utilize Annette's Extensive Background in the Fields of Psychology and Energy Medicine and Mind-Body Health Practices including evidence-based Medical Qigong and Tai Chi Practices.

She is a Certified Tai Chi Teacher and a Certified Qigong Teacher from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC). She is also Certified as an Integral Energetics Practitioner from the IIQTC in Santa Barbara, California.

Annette is a dynamic teacher keeping on the cutting edge of Research in the Mind-Body Health Practices. Annette has been the featured guest on numerous TV talk shows and is a Keynote Speaker among Corporate America, including Fortune 500 Companies. She has an extensive background in the fields of Energy Medicine, Evidence Based Mind-Body Health Practices, Holistic Health Care Modalities and Addiction. Annette served as the President of the Executive Board of Directors for the Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio, a three-year intensive Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Program for Master and Doctorate Level Practitioners. She has a passion for life and for learning and it shows in all her workshops and seminars.
