Training: I have “officially” been studying and practicing qigong since 1998. However, I would offer that my qigong practice began as a young girl, sitting under trees and wandering through the woods of my backyard. I became a certified qigong instructor and completed three years of qigong training under the instruction of Hui Xian Chen, Roger Lore and Her Liu at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2001. Some of my revered teachers and studied influences also include Zhongxian Wu, Tamara Staudt, Ken Cohen and Roger Jahnke, among others.

Practice and Services: Tracy Lomax is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Seaside Spa and Wellness Center on the beautiful Oregon Coast. She offers Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Qigong as part of whole person health care, with the intention of leading and guiding the qi of the body. I teach qigong classes weekly to both beginners and more advanced students. Forms include; Essence, Soaring Crane, Remedy Routines, Turtle Longevity, Clapping Hands, Eight Silken Movements and others. Classes are held at different locations from Gearhart to Manzanita. We often practice on the beach, weather permitting.
