PUBLIC ACCESS PAGES FOR QIGONG TEACHERS & THERAPISTS
The public is becoming more aware of the
benefits of qigong, and many people contact the Qigong Institute seeking referrals to teachers or
therapists. In the USA, fifty-five million people have access to the World Wide Web. In response to this increasing demand, the Qigong Institute
offers a Public Access Page for qigong teachers and therapists to describe their services, express their personal points of view, and use their Public
Access Page for promotion. Members of the public can now access the Public Access Pages to locate teachers or therapists in their geographical area
who best meet their personal needs. The Qigong Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization, maintains the web site as part of it's efforts to promote qigong for health through
education and research. Our policy is to promote qigong without favoring any teacher or any of the many different qigong practices and to maintain
and foster integrity in the field. The Public Access Page project is made possible by many volunteers.
The Qigong Institute invites qigong
teachers and qigong therapists to subscribe to a Public Access Page on the
Qigong Institute's web site. You will have an opportunity to be listed on the
World Wide Web along with qigong professionals in the USA and in other
countries. Subscribers should have a component of qigong in their practice,
including the healing and martial arts. To qualify for a Public Access Page,
subscribers are asked to become members of the Qigong Institute with a annual
contribution of $40, which helps to support the Institute's educational and research
activities. Each Public Access Page will have a unique
web address (URL) on the web site of the Qigong Institute (<http://www.qigonginstitute.org>). For
example, the URL of a Public Access Page might be listed as: <http://www.qigonginstitute.org/QITeacher/first initial_last name.html>.
The public could access your Public Access Page by searching a list of qigong specialists maintained on the Qigong Institute Web site and pointing
to a link directly to your Public Access Pages. If a teacher or therapist already has a web page, it will be linked to the list of qigong
professionals. We contemplate listing the names of teachers and therapists by country, state and city. This is an opportunity for you to have your
name listed along with other qigong professionals from around the world.
You may have your name, address and phone number and a short statement
describing your professional specialty listed on our web site without becoming a
member of the Qigong Institute, but in this case you will not be eligible for a
Public Access Page and you may not list your personal URL.
To subscribe to a Public Access Page or a Free Listing, please provide the
